Top Floor Artists & Friends

At Top Floor Art we promote and sell the work of a small number of select artists and craftspeople whose work we think reflects the outstanding standard of art and craft available in Northern Ireland.

Roger Michael

Roger’s attention to the detail and finish of his work is outstanding and combined with his original designs reflects his growing reputation in Northern Ireland. He has shown his abstract work two years running in the RUA and has a sizable following for his fine furniture.

Ian Agnew

Based in Bangor, Ian is an expert wood turner and specialises in handcrafted turnned bowls and gifts. Made from locally sourced or exotic woods, his pens are an excellent example of fine craftsmanship.

Jonnie Harkness

Based in Ballymena, Jonnie’s works use salvaged native timber and he brings out the best in each piece of wood. His eye for beauty and design creates gorgeous pieces for the home, office, or any environment.

Lindsay Press

Taking inspiration from the landscape and wildlife of the Ards peninsula where she is based, Lindsay’s work consistently grows in popularity. She uses raku and smoke firing as well as earthenware and stoneware glazes and has a skilled eye that translates into perceptive and empathic design.

Sharon Regan

Sharon is a versatile artist who works primarily with ceramics in innovative and creative ways. Her sculptures capture the energy and character of her equestrian and figurative subjects.

Ruth Walker

Ruth is a skilled glass artist who produces stunning glass jewellery, suncatchers and decorations to the same quality and exacting standards as her beautiful larger abstracts and stained glass. She also produces stunning plates, bowls, wall hangings, ornaments, and seasonal themed items.

Alison McCann

Based in Newry, Alison’s beautiful velvet scarves catch the light and your attention with their intricate and delicate designs. She also creates thick and warm knitted snoods and cowls in a range of sophisticated colours.

Deborah Toner

Deborah’s fascination with textile arts is based in the idea that ‘something very structural and architectural can be made into something soft and tactile’. Her delicate renditions of Northern Irish iconic architectural and map imagery adorn wall hangings, cushions, cards, canvases, and other small items.

Jaele McColgan

Jaele's passion for colour and design is evident in all her work. She handknits beautifully soft woollen textiles that are a pleasure to wear and has designed an appealing range of quirky children's clothes.

Lighthouse Yarns

Lighthouse Yarns opened in 2014 and is a haven for yarn enthusiasts and crafters and is based along the coast in beautiful Whitehead.Top Floor Art is delighted to stock some of their fabulous yarns and craft supplies – including wool felt, buttons, needles and hooks, and books.
